Description and principle of operation
This protective panel is designed to provide protection for photovoltaic installations and other electrical systems from surges that may occur as a result of lightning storms, power surges, and other sudden electrical effects on power lines. In the event of such events, the grid voltage may reach dangerous levels that could damage the inverters and the consumers connected to them.
The switchboard contains an AC arrester group** which, upon reaching a voltage above 275 V, immediately connects the phase and neutral conductors to the earth bus. This leads the dangerous voltage to ground and prevents damage to the inverter and other devices in the electrical system.
Technical characteristics:
– Input: 1 phase, after the main fuse, from the electricity meter panel (maximum load up to 12 kW).
– Output: 1 phase, to the switchboard with consumers (maximum load up to 12 kW).
– Input arrester: two-pole AC arrester with 275 V operating voltage.
Application:
The panel is designed for use in photovoltaic installations that include parallel-connected single-phase inverters, such as the Growatt SPF6000ES Plus, Growatt SPF5000ES models, Deye brand inverters and others, with a total power of up to 12 kW.
Notes:
1. It is recommended to use copper wires with a cross-section of not less than 10 mm² to ensure maximum safety and efficiency when operating the system.
2. In case of lack of reliable grounding, **bridging** is allowed between the neutral and the ground bus, but this should be done only after careful consideration and availability of reliable safety conditions!
Advantages:
– Prevents damage from high voltage caused by atmospheric phenomena and anomalies in the power supply network.
– Suitable for inverters with a total power of up to 12 kW.
The panel provides reliable protection for your inverters and consumers, reducing the risk of damage.
